(Closed August 2010) The Big Robot Game Cafe, a downtown business I opened in March 2008, offered PC and video gaming in a state-of-the-art gaming center.  The shop closed in August 2010 after almost three years in operation.

Gaming

At Big Robot, we try to keep things simple.  We have three straightforward pricing plans: By the Hour, Day Passes or Season Passes.

GameTime by the Hour = $5

You create an account, then purchase GameTime.  Playing our equipment costs $5 an hour. That’s it.  Usage of game titles is free.  Usage of the equipment is first-come, first-served. If folks are waiting to play there is a one-hour time limit.

Day Passes = $10 and $15

Play all day for one price – $10 on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, and $15 on Friday and Saturday.  Bring a friend and buy TWO PASSES for $15 on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday OR $25 on Friday and Saturday.  The passes are good for that day only.  One person cannot buy two passes and use them on different days.

VIP Season Pass = $90

Or get our three-month VIP Season Pass. It’s $90 for 90 days or 90 hours, whichever you use up first!   That’s right – game for only $1 an HOUR.  And the 90 days starts from the DATE OF FIRST USE, not the date of purchase, so the VIP Season Pass makes a perfect gift!

Parties

Invite your friends to the coolest party they’ll ever attend! And the best part? WE CLEAN UP!Get your group in here and have a blast on our game machines and enjoy UNLIMITED GAMETIME on all of our equipment for the length of the party for one low price – it’s just $5 per hour per guest. You will also have access to a private party room and a Big Robot party coordinator.

Retail

We carry an ever-changing variety of toys, games, and retail items. We also have an Amazon Store where we sell a selection of our items – there are many more items available in-store.  We carry a massive selection of snacks, drinks and candy – we started out as a video game store, but we’re slowly growing into Tipp City’s only Candy Store!  Drop by to see what we’ve got – we love to carry hard-to-find candy’s and favorites from the past.  We also have a large drink selection, including some drinks you might not have heard of!  Not everything is guaranteed to be in stock at all times as we often rotate our inventory.  If there’s something you’re looking for, let us know!
