Bio

It seems duplicatory to have an “Biography” page on a website dedicated to me, but my wife Samantha, President of Dragonfly Editorial, tells me that all sites have to have an “About Us” or a “Contact Us” page, so I’m putting one here.

I grew up all over – my father was in the Air Force and we moved every three to four years.  I attended many, many different schools when I was growing up and had to find a way to make friends easily. I attended high school in O’Fallon, Illinois and college in Illinois and Los Angeles, where I got my degree in English and Psychology at the California State University at Dominquez Hills.  After college, I moved with my family to Washington D.C., where I worked for the U.S. Navy, Tetra Tech Environmental Services, and finally Computer Sciences Corporation, where I met Samantha.  After that, it was all over!

Community

Now I’m in Tipp City, Ohio and it’s a great little town, reminiscent of many of the small towns in which I grew up.  After the hustle and bustle of Washington D.C., I’ve decided to stop complaining all the time about the way things are and do something about what I do and do not like about where I live.  I joined a small volunteer group and we’ve been able to make some truly magical things happen, such as a local Farmers’ Market, a local vintage base ball team (yup, it’s supposed to be two words, Samantha – back off!) and many local events and activities to make Tipp more interesting and more liveable.

Family

I live in Tipp City with my wonderful wife Samantha, who runs her own freelance editing and writing firm, Dragonfly Editorial.  We have three great kids – Xander, born June 14th, 2002, Annabelle, born May 4th, 2004, and our newest addition, Catherine, born August 18, 2009.  She’s a cutie!  To see pictures, please drop me a line or visit my Facebook profile.

Here’s a funny picture, because it’s my website:
